Cory Draper

Mr. Draper has over 14 years of experience in the geothermal energy development industry. Prior to joining the Open Mountain Energy team, Mr. Draper most recently served as the Finance and Business Operations Manager at Cyrq Energy. During his tenure at Cyrq, Mr. Draper was integral on closing over $200M in project finance transactions and integrating three major acquisitions into the Cyrq organization. Mr. Draper also managed multiple 1603 grant submittals, EPC contract compliance efforts, and project finance draws over the course of 3 major construction projects. He has extensive experience in FP&A and working with all departments across the organization to ensure the financial picture is clear and sustainable operations can be achieved. In addition to finance, Mr. Draper has 10 years of experience managing the IT Department and property and casualty insurance renewals and strategies. Mr. Draper is passionate about data collection and operational reporting and has designed and proposed several projects to improve existing infrastructure to increase efficiencies. Mr. Draper holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from the University of Phoenix.
