Brady Olson
Chief Executive Officer
Brady Olson joined Open Mountain Energy in 2016 and was named Chief Executive Officer in 2021. While at OME, Mr. Olson has been instrumental in the acquisition, development, and financing of OME’s portfolio of projects. In addition, he has helped OME secure long-term PPA’s with investment grade counterparties resulting in over 900 million in contracted revenue. Mr. Olson has over 15 years of experience developing, financing, and operating projects in the geothermal, energy recovery, and PV Solar industries. Prior to joining OME, Mr. Olson was a member of the structured financing and M&A team at sPower. Mr. Olson started his career in geothermal in 2007 as Director of Corporate Development for Raser Technologies (predecessor to CYRQ Energy). Over his career, Mr. Olson has helped secure over one billion dollars of project equity, debt, and tax equity financings to bring to fruition approximately 200 MW of installed and operating alternative energy projects. Mr. Olson holds a BS degree in Finance from Westminster College and earned an MBA in International Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Mr. Olson speaks Mandarin Chinese.
